Apps for moving and traveling can help you make a smooth transition.

Moving Day allows iPhone user to digitally catalog items as they pack. It has task list and check lists to guide you through the process and it makes label with QR codes so you can scan your boxes.

Hotels.com allows you to make a last-minute reservation when you are traveling to your new destination. Pull off the road and find a place to stay  easily.

Mom Maps find parks, play-grounds, restaurants with indoor play area and other child-friendly places.

GasBuddy can direct you to the cheapest and nearest gas station, wherever you are.

    The last time I moved, we were just getting started with smartphones, and if these existed back then I would never have thought to look for them. It’s good to know apps like this exist. I will know to check them out when the time comes (hopefully many years from now).

      I use GasBuddy all the time, but the other apps would be useful when moving.
