Exploring Display Shelves

By Basic Organization team member Tracy Wells

SAMSUNGDisplay shelves come in many different sizes and styles. I was able to purchase one unfinished at the Home Depot for very little money. The brackets come in many different styles and sizes too. I bought the shelf separate and then selected the brackets. Everything can be stained or painted to match the room décor.
This shelf was installed in one of my sons room. A couple of years ago he started putting together Lego creations. We soon found that we didn’t have the table top space for them. Also, they are very fragile.
When you start to find that you have a collection of the same item it is a good idea to put them all together and display them as a collection. Whether it’s teacups and saucers or children’s Lego’s, it’s nice to get them up on a shelf and off of your valuable table space.
Just another idea to get you organized.
