Art Supply Storage Made Easy

If you have children then you have items in your home such as crayons, markers, stickers, paper, etc… Wouldn’t it be nice to have an area and organizational system to keep all of these items contained in one spot?

Well, that is what I have done for my daughter since she enjoys doing arts/crafts several days a week. I purchased a plastic drawer unit and labeled each drawer according to the category.

My categories for her were crayons, paper, supplies, stamps & ink, and stickers.  I also purchased a portable art box so that she may carry that with her when she wants to do her arts and crafts at another location. The other two clear plastic boxes on top are portable with handles and I have labeled those both “my work”, for her work in progress, and “my art”, for artwork that she just completed.

Of course, anyone can use this organizing system and just relate it to whatever they like. My son has the same plastic drawer except the categories we used were Legos, books, supplies, and paper.
