September is Self-Improvement Month

September is Self-Improvement Month

It seems like we are always focusing on other things, not ourselves. Very recently, I even posted an article about refocusing your business goals. It was called The Autumn of Possibilities. Maybe that is why a whole month has been set aside to turn the spotlight on ourselves and improve our lives.

So what is it that you would like to improve about yourself? Take a moment to think about it. Would you like to get a handle on your finances? or be more physically active? or live a more organized life? It can be anything that you think will bring quality to your life.

Sometimes reading up on self-improvement will help you form your goals. This summer I read a book called Small Change and posted 2 blogs on my thoughts on the book. Here they are  Ten Advantages of Slowing Down and More Thoughts on Small Change. I found it to be an enlightening book and I am still continuing to make improvements to my life one small change at a time.

As I said before, it doesn’t matter what your goal is, it is more important that you have one. Find out what you want to do to make your life better and do it.

Happy September!
