Preparing for an Organized Winter

Preparing for an Organized Winter.  Some of you might be happy with the cooler months and some of you might be miserable, either way, we cannot avoid it and must prepare…………….for winter!

Although I am one of the miserable ones,  I still get organized for the inevitable! The cold and snowy days are upon us!

Depending on how you organize your affairs, you can prepare specifically in a number of ways.

I, fortunately, have a mudroom. Within the mudroom, we have a shelf attached to the wall that has coat hooks and cubbies. In those cubbies I have baskets. My children each have their own basket and my husband and I share one basket.

For everyday use keep your main accessories close by.  For extra scarves and gloves, I have an over-the-door pocket organizer that keeps them organized.  Surprisingly it works great. Alternatively, you might have a little cabinet you can use if you don’t have a door.

You can use baskets or small clear bins and label them with the names of each family member. Consequently, everyone will know where to look.

Obviously, if you’re happy about winter or not, preparing for an organized winter is a must!
