Organizers Make New Year’s Resolutions Too
Yes we do. One of my business resolutions was to blog more. So, in order to accomplish my resolution, I needed a plan.
I had a goal. That’s the resolution – to blog more. However, a goal without a plan is really just a wish. I heard that somewhere and love it!
I needed to decide how often I was going to write, what I would to write about, and when. This was the planning process.
Trying to follow daily themes is something I decided to do. I also set myself a schedule for the time of day to blog. Having a calendar allows me to plan in advance and gives me a sense of what’s coming. It prepares me for what I’ll be writing about. I love a calendar!
I am the type of person that works well with a calendar. You may not be, that’s OK. There are other ways to map out your goals.
For now, it is a work in progress, I believe it will get better! We are two weeks into the new year and, so far it’s working.
