Great reminder! Although in Tampa, August is too hot for garages. 🤣 Love the video and thank you for your great resources.

Thank you for sharing how easy it is to drop off old paint, Janet! I think you’re right – people are afraid of the unknown when it comes to bringing hazardous materials to the landfill. Your transfer station looks awesome and how great that you even have a resource for pickup in your town. I’m now on the search for a similar resource here in Central Florida. 🙂

It is so good to see more and more businesses adopting eco-friendly practices and offering services specifically to help us do more for the environment. Thanks for sharing!

I love this reminder! The garage gets so cluttered by the fall it needs a clearing out. Clearing it out will also allow the holiday season decorations to have a home when the boxes come out.

Great points. Clear out the old to make room for the stuff you really love.

I’m itching to get into my garage. It isn’t awful, but I know it can be better. The challenge is getting my husband’s attention. Most of what is in there is his. I think I’m going to have to wait for golf season to be over. I’ve been waiting for a rainy day, but we are in a drought, so that day hasn’t come along!!

It’s in the 90s here, so it’ll be a while before it’s comfortable weather for organizing garages in my part of the country. Officially, I don’t organize garages at all, but when I have a long-term relationship with residential clients, we sometimes make this a part of the process…but definitely not before October when it it gets down to the 70s, at least.

I loved your little video of your trip to the transfer station. And I wish we had a service like Yuck Old Paint in my neck of the woods!
