My Reward for Being Organized

My Reward for Being Organized

It should come as no surprise that being organized makes you more efficient.

And being more efficient gets you more free time. And more free time lets you do what you want to do.

For me, I look forward to Spring! What I like to do is enjoy the sunshine while sitting on my back porch and patio.

However, the space must be cleaned every year. This takes quite a lot of time and effort.  With the Winter winds and the Spring pollen, it can get quite messy.  It’s all worth it though because dining outside and sitting in the sun are two of my favorite things to do from April to October.

(OK, sometimes it’s a little cold in April and October, but I try.)

This year our “cleanup includes re-screening and re-staining the porch. A big job, but oh-so-worth it. It looks like new! I purchased new seat cushions, a white rocker, and a round table at Habitat for Humanity Restore. We refinished the table for a pop of color. It turned out great!

If you are in the area, some late afternoon or early evening, stop by and join me in the backyard. We can surely enjoy the sunshine together and chat about the benefits you have gained from being more organized.

Check out my project in this blog post.
