Basement Before and After Overhaul

Often, clients call when they are overwhelmed. They have been dealing with a cluttered, chaotic space for a long time and don’t know how to get it back into shape or how they’ll fit a project like this into their schedule. That’s why we are here to help! Tackling disorganized basements is what we do. Check out the before and after photos. They tell the story.

Organizing and decluttering this space meant sorting everything and finding new homes for the items that were being kept.

Now there is space to walk. Holiday items are stored in large bins and stacked neatly waiting for their time to shine! Camping equipment has found a home on the table and there is space to use the punching bag.

Have you ever thought of using the rafters in the unfinished space in your basement to store items? We hung holiday wreaths and garland from nails. Now they are out-of-the-way and safe until needed.

Another part of this basement had built-in shelving. We needed to review everything on the shelves and better organize what the client wanted to keep.

And why not make it easier to use the space in the future. We added the tables for work space for project or staging an event.

Now doesn’t that look better! Everything is even labeled so the whole family can find what they need.

Just because we love an organized space, we wanted to share some of the little areas we worked on to make this basement ROCK!

The books and paper now have a home!

The tools are sorted and organized and we made great use of the vertical space to hang items for easy access.

We even created a home for the paint cans and small tools.
