Organize Your Home Office Day!

It’s “National Organize Your Home Office Day”.

National Organize Your Home Office Day is observed every year on the second Tuesday of March. This is a day to clean up the mess that has accumulated in our home offices and to establish a productive and healthy working environment at home.

Everyone should have a home office. It’s a lifestyle thing and a new one for our generation. So we are learning. Remember your parents paying bills with a checkbook and envelopes? Also, filing bills and statements in a shoe box? But times have changed. Now every home requires office space where your computer lives and where family management occurs. It can be a space on your kitchen counter, a desk in your bedroom, or a separate room in your home. Whatever works for you and your lifestyle.

Today’s the day to clean it up! Gather papers, do some filing, organize the books, purge the magazines, clear the top of the desk, and shred some paper. You’ll certainly feel better about it!
