Moving Apps

Moving Apps

Are you moving soon?

Apps for moving and traveling can help you make a smooth transition.

Moving Day allows iPhone users to digitally catalog items as they pack. It has task lists and checklists to guide you through the process and it makes labels with QR codes so you can scan your boxes.

Hotels.com allows you to make a last-minute reservation when you are traveling to your new destination. Pull off the road and find a place to stay easily.

Mom Maps find parks, playgrounds, restaurants with indoor play areas, and other child-friendly places.

GasBuddy can direct you to the cheapest and nearest gas station, wherever you are.

Do you struggle with getting and staying organized?

Are you afraid to start an organizing project just to be overwhelmed or lose motivation in the middle, to be left with even more chaos? You are not alone. That’s the fear of most people who don’t have time to allot to a big organizing project.

The new My Basic HOME is your Home Organizing Maintenance Exercise subscription service.

The last time I moved, we were just getting started with smartphones, and if these existed back then I would never have thought to look for them. It’s good to know apps like this exist. I will know to check them out when the time comes (hopefully many years from now).

      Thanks Janet.
I use GasBuddy all the time, but the other apps would be useful when moving.
