A Gazillion Uses for Over-the-Door Pocket Organizers

I think Over-the-Door Pocket Organizers are wonderful! You can use them throughout your house for all types of storage needs.  Another thing that makes them wonderful is that they are inexpensive and customizable. You don’t need a door to use them. They can be hung from nails or hooks onto a wall. They can be cut down and used as storage on the kitchen or bathroom cabinet door. I have even seen them hanging on the back of a car seat for extra car storage. You can also buy custom pocket organizers that hang from the closet rod.

We use them for all types of things, all over our client’s homes. How many uses can you think of for them? Maybe not a gazillion, but almost!

Here are some uses that we came up with:

Bathroom: pill bottles, hair products, toothpaste, brush, makeup, nail polish, shower supplies, medicines

Kitchen: spices, utensils, snacks, sauce packets, cleaning products

Bedroom: socks, underwear, jewelry

Garage; tools, tapes, shoes, gadgets, nails and screws, small sports equipment

Laundry room: cleaning products, laundry detergent pods, sunscreen bottles, batteries, flashlights, air fresheners

Entry: sunglasses, hats, scarves and gloves, sunscreen, keys, cell phone and other electronics, work, and school IDs

Bedroom Closet: shoes, socks, jewelry, scarves

Kid’s Room: toys, diapers, wipes, small books, t-shirts, Barbies, small stuffed animals

Craft Room: pens and pencils, stickers, paint and brushes, photos, sewing items, gift wrap supplies

Family Room: TV remotes, school supplies, playing cards, and small game pieces

Car: sports equipment, sunscreen, bug spray, shopping reward cards, activities for kids, sunglasses, tissues, napkins

Home Office: greeting cards, office supplies, extra cords, electronic supplies, mailing supplies, business cards, and brochures
